My Journey in Writing and Editing
My inspiration as a faith and suspense author grew alongside my work with Door of Hope International. My projects with DOHI include the 2005 and 2018 revised versions of the bestseller Tortured for His Faith and the 2020 revised edition of The Fugitive.
In the 1990s, I served as communications director and managing editor at Door of Hope International, overseeing publishing work in the USA and Canada. Earlier, my husband Jeff and I co-directed Door of Hope International’s literature distribution into Eastern Europe during the 1980s. Those experiences and travels across Europe inspired many of my suspense novels.

Life Beyond Writing
When I’m not working on my next suspense novel or nonfiction project, I enjoy family, reading, gardening, and baking. These simple joys balance the intensity of my writing and editing work.
